What is iL?

“iL” stands for “interchangeable lenses.” This patented innovation allows you to change lenses between frames.  You can take advantage of two or more frame colors to change your look, you can leverage the cost of lenses by ordering two lens types to use with one frame, or you can do both!  However you use iL, you’ll have more options!

How do I change the lenses?  And will the lenses break?

Don’t worry, our lenses were designed by an industry expert and are very strong!  It’s easy to learn – most report that it takes just a couple of tries to master.  You’ll need to remove the top bar, twist the lenses in and out, and replace the top bar.  Here are a few videos for the visual learners out there!

Which lenses are available with iL frames?

We offer all the same optical and sunglass options with iL as with our traditional frames including reader, single vision, progressive, blue blocker, and polarized sun lenses.

How do I place an order?

It’s easy!  At checkout, you’ll first select your frame style, then the color(s), and then your lenses.  When purchasing more than one frame, you’ll automatically see a $25 discount reflected for each additional frame.
